Aadhaar Card: Documents Required for Aadhaar Card

First of all documents required for Aadhaar Card are mandatory to attach either the subscriber is enrolling for the aadhar or getting information updated.

The documents which are required must have

  1. the mobile number,
  2. name, and
  3. the photograph of the subscriber

UIDAI accepts several documents like:

  1. Identity Prrof
  2. Address Proof, and
  3. Proof of Date of Birth

The subscriber needs to carry the original Aadhar card to the enrollment center for cross verification and the original document will be returned back to the subscriber immediately after verification.

The subscriber needs to submit the xerox copy of the document at the center. Also he will need just one single document for proof of identity, one document for proof of address, and one document for proof of date of birth and the subscriber needs to submit the xerox of each document with the Aadhar Card Application form.

  • Rent Agreement/ Registration Sale/ Lease

Documents Required For Aadhaar Card of Child

UIDAI does not require biometrics for children below 5 years of age the entire process take place on their photograph and demographic details which are linked with the UID of their parents.

After attaining the age of 5 the Aadhar of the children need to be re-enrolled and then the biometric will be collected by UIDAI and the same will be updated again when they turn 15 years old.
